At the IBA Human Resources Conference on April 19, Gale Mote of Gale Mote and Associates shared “How To Make Employee Engagement Reality – Not Just a Buzzword.” During the session she discussed many practical ideas for employee engagement. According to Fineman and Carter, employee engagement is “An employee’s decision to apply his discretionary effort to the goals of the enterprise, to accept those goals as his own and wholeheartedly commit to achieving them. ” From Workforce Management, here are the top 15 ways to engage your workforce:
